Need of Employee Development and Career Management

 

Employee development is a process of improving employees’ existing competencies and skills and developing newer ones to support the organization’s goals and objectives. (Zammuto, CEO and Completed.com, 2019) When describe the organization employees are key part of that. So, organization should be thinking about employee development and their career development activities. Human resource development unit of an organization has an excellent role to develop employees of the organization. When we talk about the importance of employee development,

Currently works are changed using technology such as computers, smart phones, tablets and other technological devices have drastically affected the way in which we conduct work. The consequences of these advancements and innovations will quickly reflect through the economy. It is clearly up to you to be able to adapt to these ongoing innovations which will be directly related to how current you keep your knowledge and skills. You need to consider how to vary your learning investments in time, energy and resources.
